Constraint Technologies, Inc. (doing business as constrAInt) operates constraint.work. This policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and who can see it. We wrote it in plain language on purpose.

The short version

Practice is practice. Your interview practice sessions and resume drafts are never shared with employers, courts, parole or probation officers, or supervision staff.
Transcripts never touch legal or disciplinary outcomes.
Members never pay. Programs license the platform and members use it at no cost.
Program staff see readiness information for their own institution only, according to your visibility settings.
We do not sell your personal information and we do not use it for advertising.

What we collect

Account information: your name, email address, the program or institution you joined through, and your login credentials.
Resume content: the work history, skills, education, and other details you share while building your resume.
Practice sessions: the audio you speak during interview practice, the transcripts generated from it, the AI interviewer's responses, and your readiness scores.
Usage data: session counts, timestamps, and enforcement events from our constraint layer, for example when an AI response was blocked or corrected before you saw it.
Technical data: browser type, device type, and basic diagnostic logs.

How we use it

To run the product: build your resume, run practice sessions, and score readiness.
To show program staff how their cohort is progressing, limited to your institution and to what your visibility settings allow.
To keep the AI safe and accurate: our enforcement layer checks AI output against constraint rules before you see it, and we log those events to improve reliability.

Who can see what

You can view and download your own resume and review your own sessions.
Program staff at your institution can see readiness scores and session information for their members, scoped to that institution only, according to the visibility settings available in your account.
No other institution can see your data. Institutions are never mixed.
Employers, courts, parole or probation officers, and supervision staff never receive practice content from us.
Where a program operates in a facility setting with additional safety protocols, those rules are disclosed to members in plain language at the start of every session.

Service providers

We use third-party providers to operate the platform, including AI model providers, voice synthesis and transcription services, hosting, database, and payment processing. Currently these are Anthropic, ElevenLabs, Deepgram, Vercel, Neon, and Stripe. They process data only as needed to provide the service to us.

Retention and deletion

We keep your data while your account or your program's license is active. You can ask us to delete your account and data at any time by emailing dallas@constraint.work, and we will delete or de-identify it unless we are required to keep it.

Your choices

Download your resume at any time from your dashboard.
Adjust what your institution's staff can see through your visibility settings.
Request access to, correction of, or deletion of your data by emailing us.

Age

constrAInt is for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.

Security

We use industry-standard measures including encryption in transit, access controls, and audit logging. No system is perfectly secure. If a breach affects your data, we will notify you.

Changes

If we change this policy, we will update the date above. For significant changes, we will notify active members and program staff.
